The Man
Who Believed

His father, Magan Singh Rajvi, had played football at international level and captained the Indian national team, and Vikram followed the same path. After a job with the Railways, the COVID-19 period changed his sense of purpose. He returned to the village, began an academy in his father’s name — and then asked a question few were asking.

“Why not the girls?”

The village behind the story

The film begins in a remote Rajasthan village where football intersects with family expectations, social norms, opportunity and ambition.

This is not simply a backdrop. It is the world the girls come from — and the world that slowly begins to change as they step onto the football ground.
